Our First In-Person International Workshop was outstanding!

DGI Codes the Diaspora went IN PERSON — IN BARBADOS!!
From April 13-17th, we conducted a One Workshop in titled, "Think Before You Click: Guarding Your Digital Life and Money!" This one workshop was a 5-day immersive cybersecurity & digital literacy
experience for teens ages 13–16, brought to you in partnership with the Barbados Public Workers' Co-operative Credit Union Limited and Digital Girl, Inc.! Over the course of the week, participants go from digital awareness to digital CREATION — building real websites, learning to fight cyber threats, understanding their digital footprints, using AI responsibly, and presenting their work at a live Student Cyber Showcase in front of family and community leaders!

We are thankful for this incredible experience and look forward to our next stop in the Diaspora!
